Dear Ladies, do you need to unwind? Household chores, children, work and again household chores are difficult to manage all together, we all know. Every now and then, do you feel the urge to pack everything and go away for the week end, maybe with your best and trustworthy girlfriend<\/strong>? A sort of Thelma & Louise, but with a definitely better ending!<\/span>
\nWell, we have concocted something very special for you. Our fashion blogger Elisa Bersani The Gummy Sweet<\/a><\/strong>, has spent a fabulous week-end with a girlfriend at the five star Palace Hotel in Milano Marittima<\/a><\/strong>, also known as MiMa, and she has given us 10 precious hints<\/strong> on how to spend a fantastic two daybreak in the name of relaxation, fun and girlie chit-chat! Let yourself inspire:<\/span><\/p>\n

\"weekend<\/p>\n

1. What you absolutely need to take with you<\/strong> <\/span>
\nLet\u2019s start with \u201cthe essentials\u201d, that is those tiny but necessary garments and accessories that you cannot do without. For a couple of days, I take with me my preferred perfume, then my favourite lipstick – that makes me feel always perfect and feminine – a pair of sneakers for the day and a pair of high heels shoes for the evening, my pajama or my night gown that smells home, my backpack to stroll around and on the beach and my Metropolis Furla Clutch bag for the evening. I love unpacking and put everything in place\u2026. So I feel as comfy as at home!<\/span><\/p>\n

2. Jacuzzi and small talk<\/strong> <\/span>
\nAfter putting everything in the wardrobe of our beautiful suite with sea view, we decide to enjoy a relaxing hydro-massage in a beautiful Jacuzzi accompanied by small talk and a glass of fine wine\u2026 <\/span>
\nFresh fruits for plenty of healthy energy and rose petals for a lovely scent, a lot of bubbles and bath salts to dissolve in hot water\u2026 Who wouldn\u2019t want to enjoy moments like these?<\/span><\/p>\n

3. Get ready for the evening<\/strong> <\/span>
\nIt is time to get ready for a smashing evening! So let\u2019s choose the best outfit together, exchange advice and help each other to \u201cthame\u201d our hair by means of our curling tongs. Let\u2019s be curly!<\/span><\/p>\n

4. The aperitif: an appointment not to be missed<\/strong> <\/span>
\nIt is one of my favourite moments in the day. Milano Marittima offers a wide range of street bars where you can enjoy fab aperitifs with plenty of hot and cold snacks. The heart of Milano Marittima is located at a few steps from the Palace Hotel and it is the best area for the \u201cnight movida\u201d\u2026 We decide to go for the Umami: a very cozy and welcoming pub with a sophisticated ambiance, dim lights and the clink of glasses\u2026 The superb cocktail is accompanied by a delicious selection of cold cuts and cheeses served on a wooden board. Cheers!<\/span><\/p>\n

5. A five star fish dinner!<\/span><\/strong>
\nBack to the hotel for a sumptuous dinner. The restaurant \u201cI Venini\u201d at the Palace Hotel has a \u00e0-la-carte menu with a wide selection of dishes and excellent wines from its own cellar. From the starter, through to the main course and the dessert, we have delighted our palates: dishes are exquisite, flavours are rich and well balanced. The attention to details, the quality of the ingredients, the beauty of every dish and the impeccable service have made us feel like two princesses.<\/span><\/p>\n

6. After-dinner\u2026 Fiesta at the Pousada Beijaflor!<\/span><\/strong>
\nAfter dining, back to the town center for a stop at the coolest place in MiMa! You cannot miss the Pousada Beijaflor and its maracuja cocktail. The place is a Brazilian restaurant and bar where you can have a taste of the real south American style. Perfect for after-dinner magic moments!<\/span><\/p>\n

7. Breakfast: strictly in bed!<\/strong> <\/span>
\nWe decide to wake up to the smell of freshly brewed coffee and fresh home-made croissants. Room service breakfast is a lovely way to wake up and the king size bed in our suite is just perfect for it! That\u2019s what we call being spoilt!<\/span><\/p>\n

8. Take a stroll on the beach<\/strong> <\/span>
\nA beautiful sun is out, the sea view is superb. So we decide to go out for a walk on the beach. Shoes off, feet in the sand and plenty of fresh air to breathe! What an energetic way to start the day. For those who are well trained, jogging is also highly recommended\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n

9. A regenerating spa session<\/strong> <\/span>
\nAfter filling up with energy on the beach, a stop at the spa is a must. The Dolce Vita Spa at the Palace Hotel has a relaxation pathway with steam bath, sauna and Jacuzzi and offers a wide selection of personalized beauty treatments and massages. The relaxation area includes a corner with herbal teas, biscuits, juices and fresh fruits. <\/span>
\nA real panacea for body and mind!<\/span><\/p>\n

10. Bicycle and shopping!<\/span><\/strong>
\nAfter our relaxation session, we decide to go for some \u201chealthy\u201d shopping by bike. The centre of Milano Marittima has plenty of shops and boutiques where you can find prestigious brands in clothing, jewelry, shoes, perfumes and accessories and\u2026 so much more!<\/span><\/p>\n
