What has pushed you forwards into becoming a web influencer?
Surely my great urge to communicate and transmit beauty in all of its forms. When I was a child, I showed great interest in arts and creative writing; these two elements have been the starting point in developing my profession, which, if I remember correctly, was created in 2010. My website www.edoardoalaimo.com, where it all started, is to be considered a precious gem box where you can find advice, inspiration and tips on style. I like telling my personal opinion on things, advising to my international followers only the things I would personally choose, whether it’s fashion, design, luxury or lifestyle.
How would you re-cap your experiences in Romagna, what has been most significative?
Emilia Romagna is a region that has truly surprised me. The historical aspect in Rimini, like that of other cities that I have had the chance to visit. The Pennabilli area is a true gem which it was even a pleasure to get lost in; Ravenna for example is one of the artistic cities that I have always admired; I still remember when I was a child and my mind wandered off as I was looking at the colors of the Bizantine mosaics, dreaming of the day when I would be able to see them up close. Emilia Romagna has surprised me; not only for its highly organized sea and beaches, but also for its history and architecture, in one word: beauty.
Luxury in the Riviera Romagnola according to Edoardo Alaimo …
Luxury in the Riviera Romagnola comes naturally… Here you won’t find pompous, everything is classy and subtle. Take the Grand Hotel Rimini for example, a beautiful building in which I have been a guest; and even while being a luxury 5 star hotel, you absolutely feel at home, in a chic kind of way.
What has been your favorite dish during your stay at the Grand Hotel Rimini?
I wouldn’t be able to choose just one… there have been so many exquisite dishes! The Grand Hotel Rimini cuisine overall, is to appreciate for its way of creating delicately balanced dishes, delicious and elegant. You never get the sensation of eating too much, and every dish is prepared with immaculate attention to detail. One of the things that I have appreciated the most is surely the Batani family’s own orchards of fruit and vegetables, where every dish is made of top level ingredients.
Your olfaction check-up and massage at the Grand Hotel da Vinci – Dolce Vita Spa, what did you think about it?
I think it’s really smart; a check-up I would never have thought of getting, but that truly appreciated. The smells around us influence us and our state of mind; a pleasant smell can put you in a good mood immediately and therefore also reinforce the effects of a massage or other type of treatment chosen, and the opposite effect with an unpleasant smell. In the top level spa Grand Hotel Da Vinci, an elegant and wonderful space, a true gem of the Batani Select Hotels, the olfaction check-up is a plus that reinforced my level of relaxation.
Your overall experience on a scale from 1 to 10?
10, if not more 😉
